Creating a DHCP Pool

Switch to configure mode

config term

Create an address pool

ip dhcp pool <POOLNAME>

Specify the network to provide address for

network 10.1.1.0 /24

Set the clients default gateway

default-router 10.1.1.254

Set the clients DNS Servers

dns-server 10.1.1.1 10.1.1.2

Set the clients lease timeout in hours

lease 8

ip dhcp excluded-address 10.1.1.200 10.1.1.240

host 10.1.1.100 255.255.255.0
client-identifier 001E.0C1F.A1E5

Client-Identifier is the MAC address
