As any seasoned Admin knows, service accounts are not only a pain, but also pose security risks. Microsoft tried to address this in Server 2008 when they introduced "Managed Service Accounts" but due to some major flaws and lack of vendor support MSA's are all but useless. Fortunately in Windows 2012 Microsoft addressed many of these flaws and create "Group Managed Service Accounts" or gMSA's for short.
More to come.
